Uh, Fire and Police

In our neighborhood a house burned down. And so can you guess who is up at 9:00 p. m. gathering up supplies, yep it's the church. The policemen think its a person who burned it down on purpose. They have nothing but the things on their back, not kidding. SO they have gathered shirts and shoes and all this other stuff. For the girl there is makeup, brand new shoes and school stuff and more is to come. But on our way home from the fireside we were taking home my friend and her brother. He was going on about the game today and all of a sudden the policemen lights flared! So we all had to hurry to put our seat belts except Mom and we got pulled over! She didn't get a ticket thank goodness but it was a scary thing! She got a verbal warning, and so we teased Dad about it when we got home which was fun! So now I should go but before that happens I heard Maddie came home! So I hope I can see her soon! Goodnight everyone! [Even though none of you will read it tonight!]

Happy

I'm so happy! I read Jeanene's blog and I was soooooooooo happy to hear Maddie is fine! I was worried that day and was really sad. But now I know that she is fine! [Thank you so much for the update Jeanene!] Now I can just wait, impatiently I might add, to finally be able to see her again! So now I can go to sleep with the reassurance that she is better and I can sleep with a smile!

P.S. This has nothing to do with what I'm writing about but I figured out how to put paper on my blog and without Dad or Mom's help so I am pretty proud right now! :]

Gardens..

Last Saturday, my Dad got me seeds to plant a garden for my Faith project in Young Women's. I started digging up dirt and am on my way to gardening! It will include bean, corns, basil, and cilantro. I have my Grandma Murphy helping me since she had a garden in Alaska. When the plants start shooting up, I will take pictures. I hope they make it that far, because last time I tried doing this, Ari cut them up. Yep, he went out there with scissors and cut them up when they were a couple inches high. It was a very sad day for me. I was very proud of them and had fun watering them and all that stuff. But I will stop now and move on. [Wait one moment while I have a last cry.] Okay. all better now:] Well, I'm going to Young Women's volleyball soon which will be fun.

P.S. Mom got her hair cut and its now cut like Alice from Twilight, which is what I think, though she wasn't trying that. It's now platinum blonde. It was shocking when I saw her because, before she got it I saw her after school, then when I got home from cheer, it was blonde and short! Well brothers are nagging so I have to get off.  I will post again soon though!

P.S.S. Asher just went to light the grill, and well lets just say his hair is burnt! Its so HILARIOUS! Well I will have pictures of both soon! Check back tomorrow to see them!

Stitches, Pens and What Else?

Okay, I have to apologize for the last post! I didn't realize it was so light! But, the main part of the article is to arrive. Today in school my friend, Tessara, was trying to break a pen. Jilline and I were in the bathroom washing our hands. Tessara walks in with blood in her hands. When the blood is washed off, I see that it is very deep, like stitches deep! When we go to the nurse, the nurse looks at it and says "Stitches!" SO she had to call home and is probably getting the stitches right now!
Moral of the story: Don't try to break pens!

Frogs!

Okay. when I posted that I was going to dissect a frog, everyone wanted details. Well , if I don't describe it as much as you wanted, there is a website called froguts.com and it has a virtual tour of dissecting a frog. Okay, here is the details!
We started out by getting the frog and observing the hands and feet. Then we started  cutting it up! We had to stop just as we cut up the stomach because the class period ended. The next day [today] we opened it up the whole way. There we found out it was a female because of all the eggs. Those were nasty looking. We took them out and finished dissecting it! One of the boys in our group kept saying some of the parts looked like food, so I don't think I will be eating pasta soon...  or cotton candy. We didn't finish again so on Monday we will finish up Finally! All in all I guess it was wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be and I even touched it! the only person that didn't really touch the frog was a girl. Me and my friend started poking it with the knives and other tools that there was. It was kind of fun. [You were right Aunt Danette, it wasn't that bad.]  Well I will see if we do more on Monday. Have fun at froguts.com!:]

     P. S. Thanks for all  the comments you post!

Starting School

Today I started school which was a Blast! Ha Ha! I changed seats in a lot of classes. I am tired of school already, and excited about cheer! Cheer was nice and it felt good to stretch and do the big 12!  The big twelve is 12 different stretches we do for a minute each! It KILLS. I will be really sore tomorrow and won't be able to move. But it feels really good!  And when I do it I feel all tough:] Well I should start homework and study for tests............

P.S. I have to dissect a frog on Wednesday!

South Mountain

This is in the bigger building.

This is Ari with the hat, then Asher and Rhys. They are at the smaller building.

Yesterday we went on a hike to South Mountain. It was really fun and enjoyable.  It was a slightly hard hike because, being Arizonian mountains,  it was extremely sandy and rocky. There were many steep areas and and on the way down from the peak, they were so slippery, that Ari fell down and then pulled me down also when I grabbed his hand. I also think Dad is amazing because he did all this  with Bram asleep on his back.                                                                                                             But it was very fun and along the way there  were many rocks  that the boys climbed and that had tunnels in them.  There was also a fort looking building, made out of rocks. One was like a one-room house and the other like the gathering room. It was big with benches and two mini  fire-places. Also, there was this big rock and it had Indian hieroglyphs, [hopefully I spelled that right], which were fun to look at.
When we were almost done with our hike and we were heading towards the parking lot and Asher was leading  the way when my Dad saw a coyote. He yelled to Asher to stop and I yelled and then Asher looked up. He didn't see the coyote though and both Dad and I were surprised. The coyote was twenty feet in front of him.  Dad concluded that the coyote saw Asher and might've been hungry  and wanted to get him because the coyote didn't stop until he saw me and Rhys walk up behind Asher. It was amazing and we saw its footprints in the sand when we got closer to where the coyote was.
All in all, it was a pretty fun hike and I had tons of fun!

Officially 2009

Okay, its officially 2009! I am so excited for this year, one of the main reasons is because of all the cousins coming in a couple months! That will be exciting. But now I have to get ready for school and look forward to summer in 5 months!
