Uh, Fire and Police

In our neighborhood a house burned down. And so can you guess who is up at 9:00 p. m. gathering up supplies, yep it's the church. The policemen think its a person who burned it down on purpose. They have nothing but the things on their back, not kidding. SO they have gathered shirts and shoes and all this other stuff. For the girl there is makeup, brand new shoes and school stuff and more is to come. But on our way home from the fireside we were taking home my friend and her brother. He was going on about the game today and all of a sudden the policemen lights flared! So we all had to hurry to put our seat belts except Mom and we got pulled over! She didn't get a ticket thank goodness but it was a scary thing! She got a verbal warning, and so we teased Dad about it when we got home which was fun! So now I should go but before that happens I heard Maddie came home! So I hope I can see her soon! Goodnight everyone! [Even though none of you will read it tonight!]

  1. Well, surprise, I read it. That is very sad. How many kids lived in that house? Isn't it nice to belong to a church that has the ability to jump right in and help those in need?

I have no comment on the seat belt thing. I am bad about seat belting my kids every single time we get into the van.

good night Kat. I love you!

Thanks for posting! You have a cute blog that I enjoy reading.

  4. Aunt Sorena, I know how you fell about the buckle situation. It is nice to be in the church. It was just a single father and is sixteen year old daughter. They aren't members but if they were they would be in our ward.

  5. Pretty digi paper Kat! I'm sorry to hear about the home burning down. I'm glad you just got a verbal warning. Those Gilbert officers sure mean business.
